At present, I work from Monday to Saturday and the times vary between pupils. I usually leave
the time slots between 3.30pm -7.00pm for school age pupils as this fits in well with school work etc, however, lessons for
non-school age pupils can still be booked during these times.
Lessons last 1 hour and are done
one a one-to-one basis from the comfort of my home in Livingston. This arrangement gives me time to explain each exercise
clearly and let pupils progress at their own pace (and also avoids the classroom scenario which can make children feel like
they are being given “extra homework”).
All lessons are designed to the age and level
of the pupil and at a pace at which they are comfortable with and, this way I feel, they will learn quicker and more confidently
as well and will enjoy playing which is of the utmost importance.
Exercises are given out and
these are always dated and all it takes is 15-20mins practice per day to progress forward.
I
will guarantee you will be playing your first song in a month!
That’s how easy it is with
GTRS
I cover all areas of playing from open chord, barre chords, scales, rhythm/timing and on
either electric or acoustic guitar.
I can also help and advise you on buying your next guitar
or amplifier, show you how to re-string and keep your guitar in tune between lesson and any other guitar related questions.
Each lesson is priced at £17.00 per hour, and is usually block booked on a monthly basis. This gives
you your own time and day and help you and myself to plan your lessons.
Hopefully I will see
you at your first GTRS guitar lesson soon.
